An Activity is something you do in a journey. The guide publishes activities over time, and you get a notification when new ones are ready. Each one has a Activity Title, and most have Instructions from the guide.
There's no deadline. Do each activity when it suits you, in the order the journey lists them.
Kinds of activities
Reading
A part of the story to read. You can highlight passages, add comments, and mark it complete when you're done. See Reading a Project.
Survey
A few short questions from the guide: true or false, multiple choice, a rating from 1 to 5, or a short written answer. Choose Start Survey, move through the questions with Next and Previous, and Save at the end. You answer a survey once, and can look at your answers again with View Response.
Discussion
A question or topic to talk about. Write your response, then read what others said under Community Responses and reply to them. You can edit or delete your own replies. When someone replies to your response, you get a notification.
Instructions
A note from the guide, such as how the journey will run or what to look out for next. Mark it done when you've read it.
What the guide sees
The guide sees who has completed each activity, along with the responses, survey answers and reading highlights people share. That's how they learn what's working in the story. Other readers see your discussion responses and replies.
The end of the journey
The last activity in a journey is The End. Choose Finish Journey to see a summary of your journey: how many activities you completed, and how many other readers finished with you.
