On your project's page, choose Create Journey. You can create a journey for a draft project too: opening the journey makes the project visible.
The details
- Journey Name: the name readers see when they browse and join journeys. Pick one that helps them recognize it, such as "Spring read-along".
- Capacity: how many readers you'd like, from 1 to 200. It's a goal, not a limit: more people can still join after you reach it.
- Reading Pace: how often you expect to publish new content, so readers know what to expect. Slow is now and then, Medium is steady and regular, and Fast is often.
- Journey Notes: your goals for the journey, what you'd like feedback on, and anything else participants should know.
Choose Create Journey. The journey starts as a Draft, which only you can see.
What can change later
Choose the edit button on the journey's page to change its details. What you can change depends on the journey's Status:
| Detail | Draft and Open | Active and Paused | Completed and Archived |
|---|---|---|---|
| Journey Name | Yes | No | No |
| Capacity | Yes | No | No |
| Reading Pace | Yes | Yes | No |
| Journey Notes | Yes | Yes | No |
Participants know a journey by its name, so it's fixed once the journey begins. A finished journey is a record, so nothing changes after that. Each field's reference page has the exact rule.
