📜 Fictional Crowd Code of Conduct 📜

Last updated June 31, 2021

Welcome to Fictional Crowd, where stories grow with you! We're all here to cheer on creativity, support each other's work, and take part in some incredible storytelling. To keep our community safe and inspiring, let's agree to a few ground rules…

1. Respect the Journey, Respect the Project!

Whether you're reading or writing, every journey here is meaningful. We respect all voices and viewpoints—even those we might not agree with. Let's lift each other up with kind words and constructive feedback. We're all about helping each other shine.

🚫 Not allowed: Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or personal attacks of any kind.

2. Keep It Friendly and Fun

Feedback is golden, but we keep it friendly. Remember that authors are sharing their creativity and readers are sharing their reactions—so if you have a thought, share it in a way that builds others up.

🚫 Not allowed: Excessive negativity, rude or dismissive comments, and content that discourages others from participating.

3. No Harmful Content Allowed

We're here to celebrate creativity, but harmful content of any kind is strictly prohibited. Keep it safe, respectful, and responsible. If your content could potentially hurt, offend, or incite others, it's not allowed here.

🚫 Not allowed: Graphic violence, explicit hate speech, illegal content, or any materials harmful to our community.

4. Help Us Help You!

If you spot something that goes against these guidelines, report it. Our moderation team is here to review every report, so keep the reports honest and accurate to help us create the best experience for everyone.

🚫 Not allowed: False reports or spamming reports for content that doesn't break our guidelines.

⚠️ Consequences if You Break the Rules ⚠️

We take this Code of Conduct seriously, and there are consequences for anyone who doesn't follow it:

  1. 15-Day Suspension: If you violate a rule, we might suspend your account for 15 days. Think of it as a “time-out” to reflect on our guidelines.
  2. Account Revocation: For serious violations, we may revoke your account permanently. If this happens, you won't be able to use that email to join again. Consider it a permanent end to the journey with us.
  3. Investigation: If you're reported for a possible violation, your account might be marked as Under Investigation until a moderator reviews the report. This process may take a little time, so please be patient while we ensure a fair review.

Thank you for being part of Fictional Crowd. Let's create a positive, engaging, and inspiring space for everyone to read, write, and grow together!
